Mr. Kelemen, a town resident who was very active in the Sharon Center School, enlisted the help of 133 students, faculty and local businesses, and over 3 years created the Nature Trail. It was an outlet for students, faculty and local residents to learn from and enjoy the great outdoors.

"The teachers who helped...hoped the project would integrate science, computer, woodworking, math and English"

"It is meant to last for years , so that future generations of students can enjoy it"

It was dedicated in Spring of 1997 in memory of Ann Douglas Kelemen.
